With our extensive portfolio, our professional attitude, our many years of experience, our enthusiasm, and our dedication, we can help you achieve your dream. Whether you would like a small farmhouse in Ariège, a house or gîte in Gers, a château or bed and breakfast (chambres d'hôtes) in Hérault, a ski chalet in the mountains, building land for your dream home, or a water mill to restore to its former glory,
Our multi-lingual team will be delighted to offer you a warm welcome to Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc.
Midi Pyrénées Propriétés offers you the ‘complete property service’: offering guidance in the first steps of your search; accompanying you as you view and consider suitable properties; providing help with the whole buying process and dealing with the notaire and conveyancing process; helping to arrange all practical matters such as gas, water, and electricity; and offering any assistance necessary up to and including settling into your dream home.
We speak French, Dutch, English, and Spanish, and we are fully conversant with the legislation, regulations, and customs that are important in buying and selling property in France.
Following personal contact with you, by e-mail or telephone, we will select and send details to you of the very best properties in our portfolio corresponding to your requirements and wishes. In prepparation for your visit and in line with your final choices, we will arrange the itinerary and appointments. Of course, we won't send you off on your own. We will accompany you to all viewings and make sure that your questions are answered.
The settling-in service
We will be happy to advise you on everything that comes with buying and moving into a new home. We can assist you with arranging connection of utilities and telephone/internet lines and any necessary administration to transfer these connections to your name. We can also help with financial and residential matters such as mortgages, opening a bank account, taking out insurance, finding a school and a doctor, and dealing with the tax authorities.
If you have a property that you would like to sell, Midi Pyrénées Propriétés can help you with that too. We will make an appointment to discuss the possibilities with you in person.
The buying service
Once you have found your dream home / property to purchase, we will guide you through the whole French house-buying process, from your initial offer, through negotiations of the purchase price, to completion. We will also accompany you to the notaires office. This service offers you the reassurance that you will get the right answers to any questions you may have. Providing guidance or second opinions when buying through other estate agents also form part of the range of services we offer.
We will be happy to offer assistance with your tax affairs and/or legal related matters in France.
If you are planning to be absent for a longer period of time, you can also call upon Midi Pyrénées Propriétés for assistance. Whether you need someone to keep an eye on your property, cut the grass, empty the letter box, or air the house, we can bring you into contact with the person you need!
If you would like to let your property, we can advise you on holiday rentals.
If you are planning to carry out renovation or alteration work after buying, we can offer advice. Having many years of experience with reliable and expert local craftsmen, we can put you in touch with the right people.

These are the best departements in France if you are looking for the best quality of life. The warm colours characterizing the area around Toulouse, the Mediterranean environment, and to the south the majestic Pyrenees mountains and unspoilt nature guarantee a perfect sense of freedom.
Discover Toulouse, the beautiful, bustling, historical capital of Midi-Pyrénées. Gers is known for its joie de vivre, the musketeer D'Artagnan (born not far from Auch), beautiful châteaux, antique markets, mediaeval villages, and gastronomic restaurants. Dotted around are typical French café terraces on a square with plane trees where jeu de boules is played. Ariège, in the south of the region, offers a panoramic view of the mountain ranges. The history of this departement, bordering Catalonia and Andorra, was partly written by the Counts of Foix and the Cathar's and Catharism. Valleys punctuated by villages which have retained all their charm, large ski areas, and nature reserves with a rich flora and fauna: a spectacular and authentic environment in which French traditions still thrive.
The perfect region if you like variety: sandy beaches stretching for miles, beautiful nature in the surrounding countryside, and the impressive mountain peaks of the Pyrenees and the Massif Central. The different landscapes are typical of this characterful region, full of contrasts and enjoying plenty of sunshine.
Besides the rich nature - carefully protected in numerous nature parks and reserves - the region is strewn with beautiful historic towns and countless picturesque villages. Some even feature on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Explore the capital of the region, Montpellier - a modern city with a historic centre - or visit the well-known cities of Nîmes and Carcassonne. Saunter through the narrow streets, enjoy the atmosphere on one of the many squares bustling with the local French population, or seek out a spot on a sunny terrace and enjoy a glass of wine for which this region - the most expansive wine region in the world - is so well known.
The unique thing about Languedoc Roussillon is that everything is within easy reach. Add in the sunshine, the wine, the hospitality, and the delicious food, and the good life in La Douce France can begin.
We have helped the following people and many more to find a house - or even a home - over recent years.
Mr and Mrs V - Belgium
While looking for our dream house in the Midi-Pyrénées region, it turned out we couldn't speak French quite as well as we'd always thought. Our ignorance of French legislation and regulations also led to unexpected problems. Thanks to the knowledge and experience of the professional estate agents at Midi Pyrénées Propriétés, we managed to realize our dream after all, and now we enjoy all the wonderful things that France has to offer every day.
Mr P - The Netherlands
A second home in France... It was something I'd dreamed of for many years. Having sold my business in 2010, I decided to realize my dream. Through an acquaintance, I made contact with Midi Pyrénées Propriétés. During my first visit to their office, I informed them of my wishes and requirements. Around two weeks later, I returned to France to view a number of houses. I soon made a choice. The estate agent had a house waiting for me that satisfied virtually 100% of my wishes. All official matters were then soon dealt with. Electricity, water, and even a gardener - the estate agent took care of it all! Since 2012, I now spend more than half of the year in the vicinity of Foix, and I very much enjoy it.
Ms M - United Kingdom
My husband and I used to go to Toulouse twice a year for more than ten years. We generally spent our holidays there in a hotel or bed & breakfast. Following my husband's death, I was keen to go to France more often. Over the years, I had made a lot of friends there. The idea of buying my own holiday home there began to take concrete form. Thanks to the contact with and experience of Midi Pyrénées Propriétés, I was able to take that step. Since January 2013, I am the proud owner of my own holiday home just south of Toulouse.
The C Family - France
After a period of hectic life in Paris, we were keen to enjoy nature and the good life in a peaceful and beautiful part of France. The approach and efforts of our estate agent was very professional. We greatly appreciated their knowledge of the area, the way they helped us think things out, and the good discussions. Thanks to Anneke, we can now enjoy our dream home near Carcassonne.
